It is never too early to learn the value of saving money. That's why Heights Community Federal Credit Union has created Joe's Club to help encourage our younger members to save.
Our Joe's Club share savings account is for our younger children from birth to age sixteen (16). Joe's Club accounts earn dividends for your child even if balances drop below $100.00.
Our young members who come into the credit union during certain events held throughout the year (Youth Week, Easter, Kids' Day and Christmas) and make a deposit of $5.00 or more will be eligible to enter events for our drawing contests, i.e.:
- Movie Basket
- Easter Basket
- Jelly Bean Jar
- Free Hotdogs, Soda, Helium Balloons, Face Painting & Balloon Animals.
- Christmas Stocking
A Special Website for Joe's Club Members
It's a place where "Our Credit Union Kids" can learn about money and have fun. Check out Money Matters for fun articles to teach your children about saving and other topics. Also try out the Savings Calculator. Explore other areas of Joe's Club. We have combined discovering money facts with marine life activities to make learning more fun.
Just click the Joe's Club logo at the top of this page or click here to enter the world of kids and money.
Newborns to Age One (1)
A Special Gift: The credit union will open a Joe's Club share savings account with an initial deposit of $5.00 for any child under one (1) year old. That's right! We will open a Joe's Club account and make the initial $5.00 deposit, as long as we have the child's social security number at the time the account is opened.
Birthday #16 Coming?
Is your teenager turning 16? Well, Happy Birthday to them! When your teen turns 16, they can open a FREE checking account at Heights Community FCU and receive their first box of checks* free, with a parent as a joint owner / co-signer.
Apply for a VISA Credit Card, with a parent as a co-signer and learn about becoming financially responsible. Start building credit in your name for the future.
